Hiroshima Childrens Museum

Hiroshima Children's Museum is a museum with a difference where the children can learn, observe and play at the same time. Located in Moto Machi, Naka ku, the three-floored Hiroshima Children's Museum has kept the entry fees free for the kids. Apart from keeping all the exhibits for free, the Museum also allows the free usage of lockers to the children.

The 1st Floor of Hiroshima Children's Museum

The first floor has a Science Adventure Gymnasium, which comprises long maze of tunnels, dark cages and narrow passages where the children can have fun. Also located on the first floor is the Science Fantasy Land, which offers dazzling display of light.

The 2nd floor of Hiroshima Children's Museum

The chief attraction on the second floor of Hiroshima Children's Museum is Dr. Scitech's Laboratory. Especially designed for educational as well as fun purposes, the Laboratory illuminates the children in a very simple manner with the knowledge of technology behind appliances that we use in our daily lives. These appliances are as simple as cameras, microwaves or TV.

Also placed on the second floor is a model train and tram set. These are quite popular among the kids. Other attractions of the second floor include earthquake-generating device as well as children can draw pictures in the air and participate in virtual games in Children's Museum of Hiroshima

The 3rd Floor of Hiroshima Children's Museum

The third floor is quieter in comparison of the other two floors and is visited more by older children. The main attraction of this floor is a Solar Telescope through which you can observe the movements of the moon and other heavenly bodies. A special craft room on the floor allows children to make devices like radios and wooden puzzles etc.

Hiroshima Children's Museum is a fun place for the children since it brings changes in their attitude of perceiving science.
