Peace Memorial Park in Hiroshima is an important park present in Japan. This park has a lot of historical importance. The city of Hiroshima is known throughout the globe as the place where the first Atom Bomb was dropped. This place witnessed the first tragedies and devastations of the destruction caused by the Atom Bomb. Thousand and thousands of people were left dead after the attack and the entire place was destroyed. This happened on 6th August 1945. The Peace Memorial Park was conceptualized in the year 1949 on 6th of August. It was at that point of time, that entire place was dedicated for Peace Memorial facilities. This Peace Memorial Park is a memorial for all those people who lost their lives due to the explosion of the Atom Bomb in Hiroshima. Peace Memorial Park in Hiroshima comprises of many attractions among them the most popular are the Atomic Bomb Dome, the Children's Peace Monument, the Flame of Peace, the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum etc. The other building present is the International Conference Center Hiroshima. There are many other structures like fountains, monuments etc present in the park as well. The Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum consists of different photos, video clips, narratives etc of Hiroshima. There are many exhibits present in the museum as well. Those are from the actual time period of the atomic bomb explosion. The Peace Memorial Park also has a register, which has the names of all the victims of the Atom Bomb explosion. The Flame of Peace that is present in the Park will be kept burning until and unless the world become nuclear weapons free.
