Shukkeien Garden Hiroshima

This Shukkeien garden was constructed for the Asano clan. It's very beautiful and has a great scenic beauty as well. The garden comprises of teahouses, islets, valleys, bridges, artificial hills and a pond as well. The garden was destroyed in the year 1945 after the Atom Bomb was dropped on the city of Hiroshima. However, the reconstruction work of the garden was started instantly after that. This garden was designed by a famous person called Soko Ueda.
Today, thousands of people visit this garden and enjoy its scenic and natural beauty. The Shukkeien garden looks like a miniature landscape based on the famous tourist destination of China called the Xihu.
The admission fees of the Shukkeien garden are 250 Yen. This is applicable for individual adults only. However, there are concessions available for students and also for tourists who come in a group of 20 and more.
