Bars and Pubs in Hiroshima
Hiroshima is an industrial city with criss-cross rivers and a dense city center.
Located along the coast of the Seto Inland Sea in the western Chugoku region of
Japan. The city is well known for the horrific incidence occurred on August 6,
1945, when it became the site of the world's first Atomic Bomb explosion. It has
now transformed itself into a modern, cosmopolitan city with a lot of glittering
and vibrant nightlife.
Nagarekawa has the highest concentration of bars in Hiroshima, but there are
lots of quiet wine bars on Hakushima-dori also. Most of the foreigner-friendly
pubs in Hiroshima are around the giant PARCO building. Yagenbori-dori Street
of Hiroshima city is full of bars and clubs that are spread across all the floors
of the high-rise buildings along the street.

Mac Bar of Hiroshima is worth visiting. The bar owner is friendly and has a
substantial collection of rock CDs. He's only happy to take requests. Mac Bar
is located in the Nagarekawa district.
Molly Malone's is another popular hangout mainly among the foreigners. Located
on Chuo-dori, across the street from PARCO this bar is also popular among the
youths. Rugby and soccer games are also shown here. It has a good menu of pub
food, desserts and imported beer.
Harry's Bar is an interesting and swanky place located in the basement level
in Nagarekawa. It is one of the larger bars in town. It is dark and atmospheric
and conveniently located in the heart of the entertainment district.
Snappers Bar is an old time favorite bar of the city. It has a pretty good
selection of CDs. From time to time Snappers holds special theme parties or
live bands performances. It is a good place to hangout especially during the
New Year's Eve.
