The Hiroshima Castle is located in the city of Hiroshima, which is more famous on the world map because of the atom bomb that was dropped there and the deadly aftermath that followed. Most people come into the city to visit the A-Bomb Dome and the A-bomb Museum and the peace memorial park. Most of the traditional buildings in the city have been razed to the ground because of the destruction caused by the Atom Bomb except the Shukkei en Garden that was originally laid in the seventeenth century and the Hiroshima castle that was re-built in the late fifties. The Hiroshima castle was originally built in the sixteenth century by the Mori clan but was later completely destroyed by the nuclear explosion. The castle has however been rebuilt using Ferro concrete and is a nice sight to watch. The interior of the castle houses some exhibits related to the history of the city. Hiroshima castle also houses few beautiful swords on the upstairs. The view from the top of the castle is breathtaking and the castle also accommodates a monument dedicated to the Chinese workers who lost their lives in the atom bomb attack but could not be accommodated in the Memorial park for geo political reasons.
