Japan - Fukuoka - Kobe - Nagoya - Tokyo - Osaka - Hiroshima - Kyoto - Yokohama -
Hiroshima is a modern and culturally rich city, known as the city of Peace. Situated on the east coast of Japan, Hiroshima City is also home to world-class museums, gardens, temples, professional baseball, shopping and more. It is one of the popular tourist destinations in Japan, frequented by thousands of tourists every year. Hiroshima is also known as the City of Water.

There are many shopping destinations in Hiroshima packed with not only local but also international brands. Shopping locations like Hondori Street, Uniqlo, Fukuya - Yale Yale Building, Tokyu Hands, Marina Hop, and Aromatic Pharmacy Horiyakkyaku etc are very famous in Hiroshima.

Hondori Street: Hondori Street is the traditional retail heart of Hiroshima City, its main covered shopping avenue. There are countless clothing shops and the street is home to Andersen Bakeries. Two blocks north on Aiodori are three big department stores: Sogo, Fukuya and Tenmaya.

Hondori Street has two large malls, Sun Mall and Parco, could easily score well on this top 10 list by themselves. The Sun Mall hosts HMV and UNIQLO as its anchor tenants and the trendier and fashion oriented Parco has a large showcase Mujirushi on the 7th and 8th floors in the new building. Gap (4F) is located in the new building as well. Between the two malls under the covered street are plenty of other clothing stores and restaurants.

Uniqlo: you will find cheap-but-chic clothes here. You can get basics - denims, wools and cashmeres in every color of the rainbow out here. Today, the company has 730 wildly successful stores all over the world owing, largely, to word-of-mouth and inconspicuous branding - none of the clothes bear logos, and the minimalist nature of the corporate aesthetic is a subtle trademark in and of itself. Here you can purchase a true collectors' item, a little piece of authentic Japanese street wear. Other important shopping areas in Hiroshima include Fukuya - Yale Yale Building, Tokyu Hands, Marina Hop, and Aromatic Pharmacy Horiyakkyaku to name a few.
