One is the basic exhibition and the other one is the theme exhibition. The basic exhibition is permanent in nature and delineates the history of fashion beginning from 18 th century and ending in 20th century. Every detail of fashion: color , structure, material, design and technique comes within its scope. It's interesting to know how the taste of generation regarding the fabric, design and accessories changed accordingly with the changing times. Along with these one is also equipped with the basics of fashion in the Kobe Fashion Museum. The theme exhibitions keep on changing. Here fashion is perceived from varying perspectives.

The Kobe Fashion museum is opened on all the days except Wednesdays. The admission fees to the museum is quite high about five hundred yen for the adults and two hundred fifty yen for students and old people above sixty-five years of age.
