You can see the Amanohashidate Viewland Park on Mt. Monju’s peak behind KTR Amanohashidate Station. It’s only a five minutes walk from Amanohashidate, which lies on the KTR Miyazu Line. The costs of the tickets to enter the Awaji World Park are also quite reasonable. Adults have to pay 850 yens, which includes the entrance fee plus a round-trip ticket. But the students and children are given tickets at a concession. Students of elementary schools have to pay 450 Japanese yens. The same rate goes for children as well. Kyoto’s Awaji World Park is open all seven days of a week. It usually opens its gates for visitors at 9-10 in the morning and closes down at 5.30 in the evening. From 21st July to 20th August, the timing changes from 8-40am to 6-30pm. But from 21st October to 20th February, the timings go through another rescheduling and the park is closed at 5pm.
