Kyoto City Tourist Information Office

This office is located on the second floor of the new Kyoto Station Building (at the northeast corner of the open air passage that runs through the building). The office provides visitors with tour pamphlets and maps, suggests and makes reservations for hotels and inns. These services are provided in various languages including Japanese, English, Korean, and Chinese.

Kyoto Tourist Information

Before you start you visit to Kyoto, visit Kyoto Tourist Information and arm yourself with information and knowledge to make your trip to Kyoto more memorable. All information about Kyoto Prefecture for foreign tourists can be availed of in English. The staff helps you book low-budget hotels, lodges and ryokans.

Kyoto City Tourist Association Visitor Information Center

This place is situated in front of Heian Shrine. The first floor of the center provides pamphlets for tour and cultural facilities, houses exhibits related to Kyoto culture, and monthly festival and event information. Tourists can also avail of detailed information from the center's comprehensive computer database. The second floor of the office provides tour counseling and operating services.

Kyoto Kan
This centre is in Tokyo and has all kinds of information about Kyoto tourism, Kyoto industry, and products with the Kyoto brand-name (some of which are for sale).

Burari Arashiyama Kyoto City Tourist Corner
All sorts of traveling information about the Arashiyama and Saga region are available here. There is also an exhibition and market that offer the handicrafts made by old people or physically challenged persons.
It is located in front of Tenryuji Temple, Ukyo-ku, Kyoto.
Open: 10:00-17:00 closed on Wednesday.
