Kyoto in Japan is famous for its rich culture and heritage yet it is modern in its own way. Japan is famous for its cuisines; here you will not only find Japanese food but food from all corners of the world. The city of Kyoto features many restaurants serving international cuisine including continental, English and western. The French Restaurants in Kyoto offers a wide array of mouthwatering dishes and sumptuous spread along with world class drinks and cocktails.

Japanese-French cuisine is offered in Comme Ci Comme Ca Restaurant, near the Okazaki museum district. There is no menu in English, only two chalkboards with the menu of the day. In excess of thirty dishes are prepared each day.

For lunch, you get soup, salad, a main dish, bread and coffee for JPY1, 300. If you require an hors d'oeuvre or a dessert it will cost you about JPY500 extra. Examples of dinnertime dishes are tomato and tuna pasta for JPY900, red-wine stew for JPY1, 800, and shrimp and scallop spring rolls for JPY750. French wines, whisky, Japanese sake and champagne are also available.
The décor is pleasing. The counter seats eight, as do each of the two large tables.

Credit cards are not accepted. Booking is advisable.

Other French restaurants include:
