Nagoya is well connected by air with other cities in Japan as the city is a major stopover between Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto and Hiroshima. The Chubu Centrair International airport is the third major international gateway in Japan and is located on a man made island that is nearly half an hour away from the center of Nagoya.

Getting to Nagoya by bus is possible form places like Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Hiroshima and Fukuoka. It takes nearly six hours to reach the capital city of Japan, Tokyo.

The best option is to travel is the super fast bullet trains that usually take people to other cities in the island nation of Japan in a few hours only. Nagoya is an important stop that is located on the all-important super fast bullet train between Tokyo and Osaka.

There is a ferry service that runs between Nagoya and Tomakomai every second evening and it takes nearly two days to reach its desired destination. The service is via a place called Sendai which takes nearly a day.
