- Atsuta Festival, Nagoya
The Astuta festival is the biggest festival of the Astuta Jingu Shrine which is known for its festivities since more than seventy festivals are held every year.
Inside the main sanctuary of the shrine solemn ceremonies are held while the outside bears a different feel and look altogether.

- Nagoya Castle Summer Festival
The Nagoya castle festival takes place in early August and the whole castle area bears a semblance of a carnival. People line up the streets and sell all kinds of fare like traditional toys, souvenirs and other edible stuff like fish, chicken, ice cream.To top it all you have all kinds of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks which give you the opportunity to drown into the festive spirits.

- Nagoya Festival, Nagoya
The Nagoya festival is perhaps the biggest festival that the city of Nagoya has to offer in terms of the fun and frolic that is attached to the whole event.The event celebrates three most helmeted samurai heroes belonging to the Nagoya area, the festival is held every year on the weekend of October. The nucleus of all the activities is the Sakae district mainly around the Oasis 21 complex, Hiasaya-Odori Park and the television tower.
