Little World Museum of Man in Nagoya is dedicated to one of the most popular disciplines- whose immense importance is rationalized by its stark relevance to our present day existence- Anthropology. Little World Museum is an open-air museum in the verdant hills north of Nagoya. It covers an area of 1,230,000 square meters and was inaugurated in March 1983. The paths of the Museum lead the visitors to the habitations of people from different parts of the world. Little World Museum has thirty-three real sized homes of people from 22 different countries. The houses are built in a traditional manner, each one embodying its own unique culture and civilization. The Museum also offers glimpses of the lifestyle of people from different parts of the globe; there are also restaurants offering authentic cuisines. Nagoya Little World Museum of Man conducts shows by ethnic performers and small circus shows are also held occasionally. Little World Museum has so much in store for the visitors that the tour around it may take an entire day. Among many other activities you can engage in, there is a bow and arrow game in which you can hunt a deer. You can also try out traditional costumes from different regions of the world and click photos wearing them. Little World Museum of Man in Nagoya charges Admission fees of 1600 yen per person and remains open from 9.30 am to 5 pm everyday.
