Italia Mura in Japanese means Italian village. It may sound very strange that how an Italian village should can exist in Nagoya, Japan. This has been build up with an Italian theme. It takes 20 minutes time from Nagoya station by subway. Italia Mura is located at Minto-ku, but for that you need to change the trains at Kanayama station.

The Italia Mura is a shopping and restaurant complex. Here one would find Italian façade building, Italian dining and shopping both for Italian stuffs and others. In Italian Mura you could find some restaurants, cafes, and many clothes shops. Through out the village, the artisans demonstrate the skills and trade that grew with Italy.

Nagoya Italia Mura is a very neat place. In the center of Italia Mura, there is a fake canal going down. There is also provision for boating, carried out by gondola drivers. They give rides to Japanese tourists. The drivers are all Caucasian but probably not actually Italian.

In the Italian Mura you can rejoice with the classic Italian music. The drivers actually play tasteful classic Italian music. Italian Mura has a gelato shop, which holds many flavors. This shop is really good. You must taste all the flavors.

One can also go for window-shopping. In allover Nagoya the transportation system is very reliable. Busses, trains, plains arrive and depart time to time.
