Blue Note played host to several legends like Oscar Peterson, Sarah Vaughn, Dizzy Gillespie, Johnny Hartman, Billy Eckstine, Tito Puente, Lionel Hampton, Ray Brown, and George Benson. Blue Note in Osaka was opened in 1990 followed by Blue Note Nagoya in 2002 satiating the thirst of jazz music lovers in Japan. In 2004, Blue Note was re-located to HERBIS ENT (a complex having buildings of commerce and offices at Nishi-Umeda, Osaka) with upgraded facilities. Blue Note added a list of festivals in Japan later.
