Jogging, as a form of exercise, originated in England in the mid 17 th c. About Maishima Green Walk in Osaka • Maishima Green Walk is located within Maishima Jogging Island. • Built in the year 1994, it was promoted as a preferred spot for the Jogging enthusiastics and health freaks. • Maishima Green Walk lies along the northern seashore of Maishima Island. Extending along the sea, it stretches about 1km. Mt. Rokko is on one side and Kobe Port is on the west. • The pleasant sea breeze makes it a refreshing experience as the joggers start it along the winding trail. • Maishima Green Walk features rest areas for the convenience of the joggers.
