Dotombori

Shinsaibashi

This shopping district with legions of long-established shops, department stores and swanky boutiques runs north-south from Nagahori-dori Street to Dotombori Horikawa. Crysta Nagahori is an underground shopping center where the Waterfall Plaza has an awesome 12mt. high glass ceiling on which water flows. Don't miss the Europe-Dori Street with a stone pavement and retro streetlights. America-Mura attracts many young people with about 3,000 fashion boutiques and clothes dealers showcasing the latest fashion fad.

Namba District

Ebisubashi-Suji Shopping Street is dotted with rows of stores, both old and new and restaurants. This district is also famous as the center of the Kamigata performing arts and the Shin Kabukiza Theater. Don't miss the beautiful Momoyama-style structure.

Sennichimae

This place is a good match to Dotombori with its fabulous food culture. Sennichimae is also famous for its amusement spots, fashion buildings, and theaters. It is considered as the best place for comic performing arts with The Waha Museum of Kamigata Comedy and Performing Arts situated right at the middle of this area. The aim is to preserve and promote the old Kamigata performing arts, one of the cultural assets of Osaka.

Nippombashi District

Nipponbashi or Den Den Town is a shopping district in the Nipponbashi district of Osaka. Famous for its wide variety of consumer electronics stores, it offers plenty of specialty items for gadget-lovers.
