Chanter Cine is one of the most visited halls of the city. It is a multi screened complex with three different halls. Chanter Cine plays a key role in promoting experimental films, and thus provides a platform to the independent ventures. The hall also screens famous foreign films that can hardly be seen in the other halls. Mostly European and American films are shown here. Award winning works of film makers from Asia, Africa, and the Middle East are often featured.
Chanter Cine is a spacious venue, with each of its three halls seating 200 people. The hall has a beer and snacks counter to keep its audience munching as they watch the films. The hall is open everyday with the first screening at 11 in the morning and the last at 7 in the evening.
The hall is near the Hibiya station. It can be reached by the Hibiya, Chiyoda, and Mita subway lines.
