Iino Hall

The hall is a designed and constructed by the Takenaka Corporation. It is now a part of the Iino building, a magnificent nine storey building with four more floors below the ground. The building occupies a total floor area of 77,694 square meters. Iino hall had staged a number of important events since its inception. The Blue Ribbon Award 2004, and the 3rd Earth Simulator Center Symposium, are a few of the major events that have been held in the place.

How to reach Iino Hall: The Iino hall is a couple of minutes walk from the Kasumigaseki station which falls on the Marunouchi or Chiyoda or Hibiya subway lines. The hall would not be difficult to locate once one finds the nearest landmark, that is, the Hibiya Park, a park renowned for its seasonal flowers. With the administrative and judicial buildings clustered around it, the Iino hall is a convenient venue for all performances, and has naturally become a favorite entertainment zone in Tokyo.
Other places to visit near Iino Hall: The Hibiya Park, with its wide range of trees, flower belts and ponds, is a delightful place to visit. The park is complete with restaurants, tennis courts, flower shop, and is a popular hangout for tourists and locals alike.
Other Halls in the area: The locality has a number of movie theaters. Hibiya Scaraza is a dual screen theater, with sitting arrangements for 650 people in the first hall and about 200 in the second one. Shante Cine is another large complex with three screens and seats more than 200 people in each.
