This hall has a sitting capacity of as many as 511 people. The Casals Hall was constructed by Arata Isozaki. Shaped typically as a shoe-box, it has some awesome balconies situated at the side and the ground of this hall is flat. A variety of popular music players have performed in the Casals Hall and one of the best among them was the Mito Quartet and there was a huge audience that enjoyed the performance here. Some of the other breath taking performances that occurred in Casals Hall were the Steven Isserlis Cello Recital, the Cello Recital by Janos Starker as well as the Cello Master Course by Janos Starker that was performed in the year 1999.
