The NHK Studiopark is Japan's public television and radio broadcaster. NHK stands for Nippon Hoso Kyokai which is Japan's Broadcasting Group. This famous Studiopark is situated in Shibuya, Tokyo, adjacent to Yoyogi Park. The NHK Studio, alike other Japanese media houses some beautiful, cute and somewhat uncanny animated characters like the Domo-kun. Domo-kun is a little brown creature with a mean looking mouth hatched from an egg and he lives underground with a wise old rabbit. He is one of the favorites at the great gift shop at NHK Studio Park which stocks lots of TV-themed T-shirts and other Japanese novelties.
