Oedo Onsen Monogatari

Oedo Onsen Monogatari is a hot spring theme park located in the artificial island of Odaiba in Tokyo bay, Japan. The perfect relaxation center, it attracts a large number of tourists everyday.

The Oedo Onsen Monogatari is basically an artificial hot spring, which is designed according to the architectural patterns belonging to the Edo period. It is a man made hot spring and one of the largest in the country.

Located close to the Yurikamome Telecom Center is one of the newest leisure centers of the city of Tokyo. One can find a large number of bathtubs of different temperatures and types. The different types of baths that one can find over here include the uchiyu or inside bath, iwa-buro or outdoor rock bath, ashiyu or footbath and suna-buro or sandbath. Visitors can choose to spend time in any of these baths, as per ones choice and liking.

The Oedo Onsen Monogatari has an open-air footbath, sand bath and steam bath. Visitors can spend hours relaxing and getting rejuvenated in these baths. Besides these baths, the complex also has tatami rooms and massage rooms and salons. You can get a relaxing body massage over here. The guests are expected to wear the traditional Japanese kimonos over here. One can choose form 18 different styles, colors and patterns of kimonos.

The hot water in this hot spring emerges from a depth of 1400 meters. The waters of the springs are dissolved with different types of minerals and salts. These minerals and salts provide different types of health benefits. Feel your body and soul get rejuvenated while soaking in the waters of this hot spring theme park. The complex has a large number of restaurants where one can get to eat authentic Japanese dishes. One can also find a number of shops from where one can buy gift items and souvenirs. If you are tired, then you can also rest in the sleeping rooms found in this hot spring theme park.

The hot spring in this park is open for 11:00 a.m. till 9:00 a.m. on the following day. In other word, it is open for nearly 22 hours every day. The theme park is open on all days of the year. Admission is by paying a small fee. For adults the fee is 2700 Yen while for children the rate is 1500 Yen. For infants, the rate is 800 Yen. The entry rate however goes up to 1900 Yen after 6:00 p.m.

Visitors planning to pay a visit to this park, can take a train to the Yurikamome Line "Telecom Center" Station and then walk from there to this place. One can get a train form Shinbashi Station to this place. You can travel by bus or by car across the Rainbow Bridge and come to this place.
