The Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum at Tokyo Dome City
Opened in 1959 next door to Korakuen Stadium, this hall of Fame eventually gave way to the Tokyo Dome in 1988. In the same year, the museum was shifted within the Tokyo Dome Complex, with the purpose of contributing to the development of baseball in Japan through dedicated efforts of baseball greats, including players, executives and umpires many of whom have been facilitated with a prestigious place in the Hall of Fame.
