Apart from these, the arcade also consists of jewelry shops, cosmetics, shoes, bags, perfumes, sports goods, watches, t-shirts, dried food and spices like chilli and pepper powders. Aromatic herbs, sauce pouches, cumin seeds and cinnamon are available in this arcade. You can get some quality pens at discount offers and have the scope to bargain. Other than special Japanese pens, the stores keep imported pens too. The major pen shops here are Marui, Asahi Shokai, Daiya, Tachibana and Shizuya Shoka.

The Ameyoko Arcade is open from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm. It is located parallel to the JR Yamanote Line. It was originally a black market area. The bright and colorful shops will certainly lure the shopper in you. The arcade also features a candy store - Niki where you will get edible souvenir stuff. One such popular one is the Kiss Mint gum. Quite a number of 100 Yen Shops are also to be noticed in this area. If you are not in a mood or need to purchase anything, you can just relax and relish some snacks or light food items at the various restaurants and cafes located here. Enjoy a sumptuous sushi platter in one of these food outlets. Here you will also get to see a varied range of pachinko game parlors. The vendors and the shop sellers are amazingly amicable and pleasing in their ways while dealing with the customers.
