Tokyu Hands Creative Life Store, known as Tokyu Hands is a Japanese department store. Tokyu Hands is part of the Tokyu Group, its first store opened in Shibuya, Tokyo in 1976. Tokyu Hands focuses on hobby, home improvement and lifestyle products
Tokyo Hands has everything you want. The self-descriptor 'Creative Life Store' doesn't quite do justice to its functional but eccentric wares, such as pink reflexology slippers, train-shaped alarm clocks that play the JR-station tunes and jewellery for your mobile phone. Those who feel that they have been to many department stores should do a rethink because this store owes them one. The basement floor has toys, games, novelty items, gift cards and gift wrap, and a large costume section. On the main floor are bicycles, travel products, such as luggage, and camping gear. Other floors have large sections of hobby materials, hardware, tools, and do-it-yourself kits; pet supplies; office supplies and stationery; Japanese calligraphy, painting, and drawing supplies; furniture, lighting, home appliances, and storage solutions.
The store has its branches all across Japan. Some of its stores are in:
Shibuya
Shinjuku
Ikebukuro
Futagotamagawa
Kitasenju
Machida
