The amusement park of Sega Joypolis was first opened in Yokohama, Japan on 20 July 1994, with arcade games and amusement rides based upon SEGA IP. With its growing popularity it was also opened in Tokyo and Osaka.

Main attractions at Sega Joypolis:

  -   Virtua Formula - An enhanced version of Virtual Racing
  -   Rail Chase the Ride - A ride based upon the Sega Arcade game Rail chase.
  -   Ghost Hunters - A ride where players use mirrors and 3D technologies to target ghosts in a pitch-black arena.
  -   Mad Bazooka - An indoor bumper car
  -   Astronomicon - This astrology based interactive theatre can accommodate 50 people, and can tell your fortune and horoscope
  -   AS-1 - A virtual reality motion simulator that simulates movement in 360 degrees.
  -   VR-1 Space Mission - It is a virtual reality space mission, which can accommodate 8 people per machine

Rules in Sega Joypolis:

1 Outside food and beverages is not allowed to be brought into the park.
2 Smokers can smoke only at designated smoking areas in the park.
3 Pregnant women, visitors under the influence of alcohol, or those who have high blood pressure or any heart, neck or spinal cord problems or generally not in good health may not be permitted to go on certain rides.
4 Park does not accept ticket refunds.

Getting to Sega Joypolis:

Reaching Sega Joypolis by Train

1 Take Tokyo Rinkai New Transportation "YURIKAMOME", and get off at Odaiba Kaihin Park Station. From there it is just 2 minutes walk to the park.
2 Visitors can also opt for the Tokyo Rinkai Kousoku Tetsudo Rinkai Fuku Toshin Line and get off at Tokyo Teleport Station. From there the Park is at a walking distance of 5 minutes.

Reaching Sega Joypolis by Bus

1 Take a "Niji 01" line at JR Hamamatsu-cho Station, get off at "Odaiba Kaihin Koen" and walk for 2 minutes to reach the park.
