The Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum was established in the year 1926 in Tokyo. The museum, on a regular basis, conducts exhibition on Japanese art organizations for more than 70 years. The museum allows the general public to access the art library and conducts workshops on art. In the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum you can glance at the oil paintings, calligraphy, pottery, sculpture made by the Japanese artists. In the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum there are six galleries. This Special Exhibition is organized in collaboration with the TV and newspapers companies. The entrance to the Museum Gallery is free for the physically challenged people, their attendants and students. Getting there: Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum is located in Ueno Park, Tokyo .To visit the museum, you can take the JR Yamanote line to JR Ueno station and come out of the Park Exit.
