The Tokyo Tourist Information Center is operated by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. It has three offices located in different part of the metropolis. Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building-Main office. This is open form 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Haneda Airport Office. It is located in Terminal 1 of the airport. It is open form 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Keisei Ueno Office. Located in the Keisei Ueno Station and is open from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The various services that are offered by the Tokyo Tourist Information center include the following:

  -   It provides complete information on the numerous tourist attractions of the city. One can get relevant details regarding the parks, historical sites, monuments, shops and restaurants from these tourist centers.

  -   One can get all sorts of information regarding the different modes of transportation within and outside the city.

  -   Travel brochures and welcome cards are provided to both the international as well as national travelers. These are extremely beneficial for the tourists.

  -   The information center provides all sorts of information on hotels that are found over here. All the details regarding rates, location, holiday packages and others are available form the center.

  -   The center also introduces the tourists to tourism volunteers. These volunteers help the tourists by guiding them during their vacation in this city.

  -   Besides these, one also gets relevant details regarding important tourist destinations and routes from the center.

One must however note, that the tourist information center does not offer facilities for ticket and hotel bookings or reservations in restaurants. In such cases one has to contact the relevant travel agents or check out the relevant sites on the internet.
