The main attractions here are:
- Meiji Shrine is a Shinto Shrine, which is devoted to the idealized spirits of Emperor Meiji and his consort Empress Shoken. The buildings are bordered by a beautiful dense forest.
- Togo Shrine is also a Shrine devoted to Admiral Tago who defeated the Russian fleet in the Russo - Japanese War in 1905. The Tago Antique Market is organized around the shrine on the first Sunday of each month.
- Ota Memorial Museum of Art displays selected ukiyo-e paintings and prints from the huge collection of late Mr. Ota Seizo, which consists of more than 10,000 piece of art.
- NHK Studiopark is a part of NHK Broadcasting center, which is open to the public. It provides golden opportunity to the visitors to have a real experience of what goes behind the screen.
- Yoyogi Park is one of Tokyo's largest and most beautiful city parks. The park characterizes wide lawns, ponds and forested area. It is a great place for jogging, picnicking and other outdoor activities.
- National Yoyogi Stadium was built for the Tokyo Olympics by renowned architect Tange Kenzo. Today it is used for ice-skating and volleyball competitions. Concerts and various other events are also held here.

Getting to Harajuku is not at all difficult. The Harajuku station is on the JR Yamanote Line, which is two stations south of Shinjuku and one station north of Shibuya. This place can also be reached easily through the Chiyoda Subway Line. This lines stops at the Meijijingu-mae Station, which is near JR Harajuku Station and is directly connected to the Otemachi Station.
In a nutshell, Harajuku is not only a teenage destination but it is equally meant for others also. The tourist attractions, shopping destinations add to the glamour of this district of Tokyo.
