Ueno is one of the major districts of Tokyo located in the Taito Ward. This district is home to a large number of cultural sites, parks and other tourist attractions and is also the main transportation centers of northeastern Tokyo. It was a major working class district of Tokyo and the entry point for economic migrants from the northern part of Japan.

Ueno can be easily accessed by rail. The Ueno station receives trains from Narita and Ginza. The major trains that come over here include The Keisei Skyliner and others. The Keisei limited express brings travelers from Narita Airport to Ueno. One can also get to Ueno by taking a bus from Asakusa. You can also walk from Akihabara or Asakusa to Ueno. It takes 10 minutes from Chuo Dori Avenue and 15 minutes from Asakusa Dori Avenue.

Ueno is home to a number of tourist attractions, which attracts a large number of tourists to this place. Ueno is one of the major cultural districts of Tokyo. It is home to a number of museums, which gives one a complete picture of the country's culture. Travelers can check out the beautiful paintings displayed in the National Museum of Western Park.
