The two major emergency numbers of Tokyo are 110 to call in the police, and the other is 119 for emergency fire cases and ambulance. These numbers can be dialed from the telephone booths located by the roadsides and no payment is required for these calls as you have to press the red button that is present in front of the telephone. - Tokyo Adventist Hospital - this hospital is situated in 3-17-3 Amanuma, Suginami-ku, Tokyo- 167 0032. In order to call this hospital during emergency, please dial 03-3392-6151.
Police Assistance
In the main street crossing in Japan, there are a number of police boxes situated to keep a strict vigilance on the people around. If you have forgotten your way or want to gather any information on the road, the police are always ready to assist you. The urgent number or police calling the police is 110. To inform the case of lost and found, please dial 03-3814-4151. For enquiry on general information, you have to dial 03-3501-0110(for Japanese and English), 03-3503-8484(for English and other foreign languages). Lost Belongings
Mind and brain do not always assist our actions, so it might happen that we leave our belongings here and there. If this happens to you in Tokyo, you need to worry at all! In case you have left your belongings in a railway station or any other public area, you have to reach the office of the station master or to the police box that you can avail at the nearest. In case of loss of your articles in the taxi, you have to come back to the respective hotel where you stayed and enquire in the reception desk as the drivers usually bring the belongings back to the hotel.
