The restaurant is frequented mostly by young people who are, to a great degree by, drawn by the music which seems to do enough justice to the cool name of the restaurant. The relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant is contagious. The entrance to the restaurant is colorfully laid and on entering, the anticipation of a unique interior is not allowed to die a hopeless death.

There is a replica of tuk tuk outside the restaurant, which is perhaps a symbolic representation of Thailand, where the sight of tuk tuks romping on the roads is extremely common.

Peppermint Café offers a veritable feast of 70 dishes comprising the best of Thai and Asian cuisines. The restaurant also has rare Thai sakes and beer.

The staff in Peppermint Café are all smartly attired besides being extremely efficient and attentive.

Boats are available for rent for paddling in the lake that stands placidly in the park.

For those given to shopping a lot, Kichijoji is a shopper's paradise. Apart from the numerous shopping stores, there are some nice shops like Yuzawaya and Onao. While the former is a sprawling handicrafts shop, Onao has wonderful collection of Japanese art in paper.
