La Granata

La Granata has walked a long way since it first opened in the 1980s. In it heyday days, La Granata was the favorite if the Italian expats. La Granata has three branches in Tokyo. While La Granata and La Moderna are located in Tokyo Broadcasting Systems building, the third one is located in Ginza.
La GranataLa Granata’s interior is extremely striking in its being traditionally Italian. The tablecloths are checkered in bright colors and walls are made attractive with brickworks.
La ModernaThough La Moderna shares the same menu with La Granata, there is a marked difference in the way two restaurants choose to do the interiors. The interior of the restaurant is elegantly styled with polished rosewood, Art Deco mirrors, and stained glass.
La Granata GinzaLa Granata Ginza is much smaller in size compared to the other two restaurants. The restaurant is exudes a cozy feeling and can be likened to a country inn. Those wanting to visit La Granata Ginza should ensure that they have made the necessary reservations.
Also located in the same building is the Granata Moderna. Both the restaurants are Italian, as amply indicated by their names. Le Granata claims to make the most authentic Italian dishes in Tokyo.
Some of the Italian delicacies which are presented in La Granata are- spaghetti with garlic and red pepper and the batter-fried zucchini flowers filled with mozzarella and asparagus.
The list of Italian dishes on the menu of La Granata is not very extensive and this may come as a disappointment to many. Also not a few have found the prices on the steeper side.
