Restorante Carmine
It would be a little less than an exaggeration if one says that Restorante Carmine serves one of the best Italian five-course dinners in Tokyo. Some of the especially recommended specialties in Restorante Carmine are pasta twists with tomato and caper sauce, and veal scallopini à la marsala.

Also to be found in Restorante Carmine is tiramisu, a famous Italian dessert. Tiramisu is made from Lady Fingers, espresso coffee, mascarpone cheese, eggs, cream, sugar, marsala wine, cocoa and rum. The Lady Fingers is not to be mistaken for it vegetable namesake; it actually stands for light sponge cakes which come in the shape of large, fat finger.

Complaints about Restorante Carmine are inspired not by it food, which continues to remain top-class, but by it location, which to many is a source of great befuddlement.
As soon as you exit the station, try looking for the street named Ushigome-chuo-dori. Upon finding the road, stay faithful to it as it leads up uphill for ten minutes. The signboard signaling the restaurant will be seen on the left.

For a single diner a five-course dinner may come at ¥2500 to ¥6000. It is important that you carry cash since Restorante Carmine does not accept credit cards.
