The Bamboo Sandwich House Tokyo is one of the finest places in the capital
city of Japan, Tokyo where you can have different varieties of sandwiches. These
sandwiches could be a tad unusual but it is great mix along with coffee, which
is reasonably priced according to the Tokyo standards.
The place gives you an option of sitting on the outside because it has a lovely
terrace, thus making up for the weirdness of the sandwiches. However the sandwiches
here might not be as good as Andersons, which is a popular non smoking bakery
that serves a variety of hot and cold sandwiches with big windows for people
watching.
However compared to the Andersons the overall ambience of the Bamboo Sandwich
place is much more up market and 'in'. There is a large variety of sandwiches
which are available in this shop and you can have a choice of about twenty fillings
to go with them. The fillings could be a little odd for people traveling to
this part of the world unless of course you have a penchant for a different
combination of food like shrimp and broccoli with anchovy sauce or a potato-and-meat-sauce
gratin filling.
If you don't share a love for all these things then there is the run of the
mill choices like tuna or roast pork. On top of the great food that this place
provides one can order for a number of juices like the fresh squeezed orange
juice and blueberry yogurt juice to quench your thirst.
The place is also easily accessible as it is located on a side street which
is off Omotesando Dori and it runs beside the Paul Stuart shop, the rates are
quite reasonable but one thing which goes against this place is that credit
cards are not accepted. The place is open till 11:00 in the morning to 10 in
the night and the place is also conveniently located from the various rail stations.
So you could casually move into this place for a late breakfast or a brunch
or might just grab a bite while on your way back home from office.
