Japan is popular for its variety of food and dishes. One of the famous dishes available in the Japanese restaurants is Nabemono which is the special dish during the winter season. This mouth watering dish is prepared from fish, chicken, meat, vegetables as well as from some of the sea food. This special food is served in the restaurants having a rustic look and also in some places having a pub style look. Another dish is that of the grilled eel which is usually called unagi. It is a healthy food with delicious flavor and is usually taken during the summer months and is found in most of the restaurants. This originally is not Japanese but a Portuguese dish and re cooked from fresh ingredient consisting of sea food and vegetables. Another mouth savoring food is the Yakitori which is a preparation of chicken with barbeque sauce. Oden is dish made especially during the month of autumn and is a stew that is made from fish dumplings, eggs, vegetables and fried tofu. It tastes best when served with wine and is something that gives ultimate satisfaction.
