For further details regarding any issues, you have to dial 03-3491-9928. The restaurant is open everyday from 4 pm to 10.45 pm, and is closed on Tuesdays. Credit cards are accepted in Tonki.

About the Restaurant
Tonkatsu, in other words the deep fried pork is a delicious dish that is loved by almost everyone. The biggest and the best restaurant that offers this delicious meal is Tonki. A very interesting fact about this restaurant is that the visitors can get a direct view of the procedures followed for cooking. The kitchen is located just behind the counters and covers a huge space of the restaurant. The restaurant is quite cheap and hence it attracts a lot of crowd. A big queue follows outside Tonki, but at last the mouth savoring food makes the visitors forget all the problems of waiting for the table to be served. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is very friendly and informal. Apart from tonkatsu, another delicious food is that of hirekatsu, that is a filet of lean pork. The rosukatsu is the loin cut and these dishes are dipped thrice before serving which makes the exterior of the food crunchy and the interior is extremely soft. The delicious dish of kushikatsu in which the meat is skewered and served with onion is available here. Teishoku is a set meal that consists of rice, soup, vegetables that is pickled, cabbage and to end it in a complete way, the flavoring Japanese tea. A strange fact of this restaurant is that the man who comes to take the orders would write the order placed by the customer on a piece of paper and would put it along with the other scraps of paper. To the greatest astonishment, they not only remember which order was placed by whom, but also they remember which of the customer had been waiting for a seat. Once the tea, cabbage and the rice is over, there is nothing to worry at all as the plates can be filled in again free of cost.
