Situated in the west of Ehime and in the northeastern part of Matsuyama, Dogo-onsen Hot Spring in Japan is the oldest and traditional spa believed to have existed over three centuries. This is one of the oldest hot spring areas in Japan along with Arima Onsen in Kobe and it has been thronged by Japanese artists and aristocrats since the 6th century.
