Nikko Hot Spring in Japan

Nikko, a moor for religious heritage and culture, has always attracted tourists with its lush greenery, landscape, waterfalls, and hot springs. Nikko is a locale having various hot springs nestled at the base of Mount Nantai, which is an extinct volcano in Nikko National Park. The present Nikko city was born early this year after the merger of Imaichi, Nikko, Fujihara, Ashio, and the village- Kuriyama.
Chuzenji Onsen - one of the Nikko Hot Springs
- This hot spring resort is located on the bank of Lake Chuzenji, which is surrounded by forests at the base of Mount Nantai in Okunikko. You can reach the lake by taking the Irohazaka Road.
- You must visit Kegon-no-taki, a waterfall, the bottom of which can be traveled by an elevator. You should also visit Ryuzu Falls, which lie between Yukawa - River into Lake Chuzenji
- Yumoto Onsen- one of the Nikko Hot Springs
- Located in Senjogahara on the northern bank of Lake Yunoko, this is a beautiful hot spring resort. This site was discovered by Priest Shodo, the founder of Nikko, in 788 as Yakushinoyu meaning "medicine man's hot bath". Yumoto means origin of hot water and have many hot spring baths.
- You must visit the hot spring bath in Onsenji, a small Buddhist temple adjacent to the resort, Yudaki waterfall originating from Lake Yunoko and hot spring area in the northern side of the lake.
- You must also visit the hot springs like Kinugawa-Onsen Hot Spring in Fujihara, Kawaji-Onsen Hot Spring and Yunishigawa and Oku-Kinu hot springs in Kuriyama.
