How to reach Shosenkyo Gorge in Japan

The Shosenkyo Gorge is just outside of Kofu City, 100 kilometers west of Tokyo.

You can reach Kofu from Shinjuku Station in central Tokyo by direct JR limited express trains or JR local trains. There are many highway bus departures from the Keio Highway Bus Terminal in Shinjuku to Kofu Station. There are buses to Shosenkyo Gorge in front of Kofu Station about once per hour.
