Getting toYokohama by train is most fitting for tourists, given that the city provides such an excellent connectivity on the tracks. A host of train lines connect Yokohama to Tokyo and other major cities of Japan.
Japan is easily accessible by sea and ferries operate regularly from Osaka
to Shanghai via Kobe and on a weekly basis from Kobe to Tianjin in China. There
are also cruises between the Japanese islands en route to Shanghai and Hong
Kong. Yokohama is also connected with the rest of Japan by road. The JR Highway
buses offer services to destinations throughout the Archipelago.
