British Commonwealth War Graves Yokohama

The British Commonwealth War Graves in Yokohama is fractioned into 4 parts according to the nationality of the people for whom it is built. The first section is dedicated to the soldiers of Britain and is called "The United Kingdom Section". The second is dedicated to the Australian heroes and is called "The Australian Section". The third section belongs to the Canadians and New Zealanders and hence is called "The Canadian and New Zealand Section". Finally the last section is dedicated to the Indian militia and is called "The Indian Forces 1939-45 Section". In this last section, in addition to the soldiers who served between 1939 and 1945, are the soldiers who also served between 1945 and 1952 in the U.S. -led military operations in Japan. A certain section of the memorial is dedicated to them though none of the information regarding their funerary rites exists.
