The Kanteibyo (Kuan Ti Miao Temple), Yokohama was established in the year 1887. So the temple bears great historical significance and high quality architectural skill. In the temple, the local people worship a mythical character and place him in a heroic status. His name is Kuan Yu. This mythical character has been mentioned in the famous legendary "Tale of Three Kingdoms". The mythical hero is in fact considered as the God of War.
