Yokohama Film Festival

Yokohama Film Festival is also known as "Yokohama Eigasai" which takes place in the city of Yokohama of the Kanagawa Prefecture. This celebration dates back to the year of 1980. In the year of 2006 the Yokohama Film Festival took place on the 5th day of February in the Kannai Hall of the same city.

"Pacchigi" was drenched with awards and critical reviews from all quarters of the island far eastern state. The credits were bagged by the director of the film, Kazuyuki Izutsu. This movie was based on the novel written by "Takeshi Matsuyama". This film was screened in two languages such as Japanese and Korean. The two other films that were basked in the limelight of recognition are "Shimotsuma monogatari" (released in the year of 2004) and Vibrator (released in the year of 2003). "Hush!" was released in the year of 2001 which was awarded with recognition, rewards and critical appreciation not only in Japan, but also in other south eastern countries. This movie was directed by Ryosuke Hashiguchi which was based on an original screenplay written by the director himself.
