Yokohama weather, like many other Japanese cities varies according to change in seasons. The year can be divided in to three seasons hot and humid summer, monsoon rains and mild winter.

From the tourist point of view, the Yokohama weather is visitor friendly. It can be categorized as mild climate. Being placed along the center of Japanese Islands facing the Pacific Coast, Yokohama Weather is subjected to the influence of the sea. The summer though is hot and humid, the breeze coming from the sea keeps it mild and stable. Temperature rarely varies in summer months and remains around 30 ' C.
