The Kishamichi Promenade, Yokohama, is a very famous boardwalk in Japan. A railway joining the customs shipment house and the Yokohama railway station was built in 1911. This abandoned railway track of Japan National Railways was converted into a beautiful boulevard stretching over 500 meters, which we today know as the famous Kishamichi Promenade of Yokohama. The promenade comprises of three bridges between Nippon Maru Memorial Park and Shinko District. The boardwalk is flanked by a large number of sky scrapers in Minatomirai District.

The Kishamichi Promenade is located in the seaside park area of Minato Mirai 21, adjacent to Nippon Maru Memorial Park. The boulevard also creates a magnificent view of Minato Mirai 21 district. The boardwalk is also connected with the Unga Park, which is a recreational water park's base. The park has the Train Road extending up to the old terminal island, which is a man made island. It was once an important warehouse and shipping area of Yokohama. The Aka-Renga Park is built inside the island to commemorate the importance of this harbor in the past. There are three other tourists' attractions on this island namely: Hotel Navios Yokohama, Yokohama World Porters commercial complex, and the Yokohama Cosmo World.
