Kuwait has its own National Football Team. Kuwait Football Association is founded on 1952 though the journey had been started much before that. With the foundation of KFA proper infrastructure for world-class football came to existence in Kuwait. The affiliation of FIFA and AFC came for Kuwait in 1962, after a decade. Presently the President of Kuwait Football Association is Sheikh Ahmad Al Sabah.
