Other means of Kuwait communications comprise of the print media, radio and television which reaches out to the entire nation and binds all the citizens together. Kuwait's press is regarded as a democratic form of freedom of expression in Kuwait is the pride of the country. Kuwait has a blooming and largely successful print media industry and the newspapers and magazines come in many languages like Arabic, English and even French. Seven daily newspapers are published in Kuwait which is printed in Arabic whereas Arab Times and Kuwait Times are printed in English. Kuwait Times also publishes special 16 pages newspaper for the expatriate community which constitutes eight in Malayalam and eight in Urdu.

Radio is an important form of communications of Kuwait. Huna Al - Kuwait meaning 'Here's Kuwait' were the first words heard over the radio when at 7:00 in the morning on the 12th of May, 1951 when Radio Kuwait started its first broadcasting, ushering in a new era in the history of Kuwait. Television in Kuwait is another important form of Kuwait communications and it made its low profile beginning in 1957. However, the first major steps towards television transmission were done in November 1961 when the late Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, ordered that Kuwait TV be transferred to the State. Kuwait TV, thereof, became a part of the Ministry of News and Guidance, now known as the Ministry of Information. Soon, the Al-Muha'a transmission station was established and its transmission reached the entire country.

Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) was established on 6th of October, 1976 by the order of law. In today's date it has established itself as a distinguished agency among the world's biggest news agencies. The objective of this Agency was to work to furnish news and broadcast it to the individuals and the information establishments. The aim was to keep the audience well informed and aware of all that is going on in the national and international fronts.
