Kuwait has a rich history of business. Before the discovery of oil fields Kuwait was famous for its maritime business. Muhammedi:- This dhow was built by Al-estad Humoud bin Hasan in 1917. Al Muhalab:- This ship which was the burnt by the Iraqis during invasion, was made by Al-estad Muhammed Al-abdullah in 1937. Sanbouk al Jalahma: - This pearl diving ship was last used in 1939 and was built by Haji Salman Al -estad.
