Penny Royal World is a large and amazingly unique complex that comprises a refurbished 19th century Watermill and farmhouse, which has now been transformed into a large motel, and an open air Museum. Penny Royal World is a popular tourist destination for it provides an impeccable picture of the industrial age in Australia.

The attractions in Penny Royal World come in the following shapes-

Gunpowder Mill

The Gunpowder has been accurate replica of the mills in the early 19th century. The entire complex is fringed with a canal and there are over 14 gunpowder barges which are used to carry the visitors around.

Penny Royal Wind Mill

Standing at a height of ninety feet, the windmill is the counted amongst the largest Tower Mills of all time. The windmill was re-erected after long years of research.

Corn Mill

The Corn Mill dates back to 1825 and stands near Penny Royal Watermill Motel. The Corn Mill includes a museum, wheelwrights shop, blacksmith shop and millers quarters. The Corn Mill was originally located at Barton.

No. 16 Tram

No. 16 Tram was in full operation during the early twentieth century. Its service from active public service terminated in 1951. No. 16 Tram now operates from Penny Royal World to places like Trevallyn and Basin Roads.

Cockle Boats

The presence of numerous Cockle Boats in Penny Royal Gunpowder is explained by the designer Roger Smith's long standing dream of seeing children riding the boats in the Park.

Powderkeg Café

The culmination of the tour cannot find a suitable tour than Powderkeg Café. The café specializes in light lunch snacks and includes items like Fish and Chips, Cakes, Sausage Rolls etc.

Penny Royal World's rooms- Fern Room and Wreck Room, are open for hire for events like birthday parties, marriage receptions, engagements etc.

Penny Royal World also has a souvenir shop for people to take home the sweet memories of the trip.
